Chief Executive Officer and President
Scott is a recognized business leader with an impressive track record spanning more than twenty-five years. He has successfully built six emerging technology and service companies. He has extensive knowledge in the area of mergers & acquisitions and private financing. He is the recipient of Ernst & Young's "Entrepreneur of the Year" and finalist award and Deloitte & Touche's Fast 50 Awards. As CEO of Protegrity, he built one of the industry's leading database security companies. As President of GiantBear, he built a leading wireless ASP in twelve months. And as CEO of ClientSoft, he built a company that has been recognized by GartnerGroup as one of the leaders of its enterprise software space for over nine years in a row. Scott's career began at GE Capital in the areas of IT and sales.
Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer
Jan has over 35 years experience in bank operations, including setup of
data centers for 7 Midwest banks, product management specializing in
payments both electronic and paper for corporate services. She was the
Executive Director of the Midwest ACH Association, and an ACH/Electronic
Payments Product Specialist at The Northern Trust Co. in Treasury
Management Services sending one of the first Cross-Border ACH payments
via the Minneapolis Fed into Canada. Jan was part of a 3 person team
that developed NetTransact an Internet based Bill Presentment and ACH
Payment Service for Corporate Billers and Payers. She designed, managed
the operations, wrote the operating rules for EDIBANX, the first EDI
payment with remittance data exchange settlement network owned by 16
leading treasury banks across the US. In addition Ms. Salzman teaches at
NACHA's Payment Institute, taught CCM classes at Northern, serves on
numerous Payment Councils within NACHA. She is a frequent speaker for
NACHA, the AFP, local ACH Associations, local TMA Chapters, and the
Federal Reserve.
Chief Technology Officer
Kernie brings almost twenty years of hands-on experience in constructing
and operating large-scale transaction processing systems. His areas of
expertise include EFT, POS, EDI, E-commerce, and merchant processing. As
Vice President of Technology for InterCept he was responsible for 170
million transactions per year, worth an estimated $4B. Prior to InterCept,
Kernie drove a technology firm from startup thru $8M. The Federal Mint,
American Airlines, AT&T, InterCept, TransNexus, Klarium and Gtech process
hundreds of millions of real-time transactions on engine technology
developed by Kernie. Additionally, Kernie was the primary architect for
National Data Corporation's claims EDI system. He received his Bachelors in
Information Systems from Greenwich University.
